"Shri. V. Muraleedharan, Honourable Union Minister of State for External and Parliamentary Affairs, inaugurated the valedictory function of Smart India Hackathon 2020 at MGM College of Engineering & Technology - Nodal Centre".MGM College of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulam - Nodal Centre, held the valedictory function of Virtual Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2020 Software Edition on August 4th, 2020. The Honourable Union Minister of State for External and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India Shri. V. Muraleedharan inaugurated the function.We are overwhelmed by the Hon'ble Minister for his valuable words and time from his busy schedule.
Honourable Vice Chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Dr. Rajasree M S was the guest of honour. Prof. Dr. M Abdul Rahiman (Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology), Dr. Ramesh Unnikrishnan (Director (Frmr), AICTE), Dr. R.S Velmurugan (General Manager, GAIL (India) Ltd.), Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mishra (Deputy Director General, National Informatics Centre, Govt. of India), Smt. Smita Jayavant (Director, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute For Persons with Physical Disabilities), Dr. Gheevarghese Yohannan (Chairman, MGM Group of Institutions), Er. Ahinus H (Executive Director, MGMCET), Dr. T K Mani (Principal, MGMCET) addressed the function.

The 3-day long Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2020 included 3 mentoring and evaluation rounds where the participating teams was judged by eminent professors and industry experts. After the continuous evaluation done by the juries, Dr. Rajasree M S, Honourable Vice Chancellor, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University announced the winning teams in the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2020 Software Edition at the valedictory function held at the MGM College of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulam - Nodal Centre on August 4th 2020.

For PSID BK225, Organization GAIL, Winning Team is 'Block Overflow' of Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. Team Leader is Sai Mahidhar Vanumu.
For PSID BK224, Organization GAIL, Winning Team is '404TeamNotFound' of GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, AURANGABAD (ACADEMIC AUTONOMOUS). Team Leader is Ashutosh Shashiraj Punyani.
For PSID BK 226, Organization Gail, Winning Team is 'Techies' team of Saranathan College of Engineering. The Team Leader is Sri Swarna.G
For PSID PD150, Organization Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Winning Team is 'MIND_OPTIMIZERS' of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women(IGDTUW). Team Leader is Akanksha Chandna.
For PSID DA178, Organization CBSE, Winning Team is 'The Checkmate' of Institute of Engineering & Technology, Alwar (Rajasthan). Team Leader is Samiya Khan
